And thanks for connecting some of the dots on metadata - we are finally getting enough extra information (tags, comments, being collected) on our objects that I&amp;#39;m curious to start trying an &amp;quot;interestingness&amp;quot; filter a la flickr.  Not sure how it will go or if we have enough traffic to really make it work...&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I also think the favorite feature is sort of the &amp;quot;right way&amp;quot; to do ratings - we went with Youtube-style 5 stars, and seeing our data and &lt;a href="http://youtube-global.blogspot.com/2009/09/five-stars-dominate-ratings.html" rel="nofollow"&gt;this post&lt;/a&gt; makes me realize we need to rethink it.  A favorite is a very gentle (only positive votes) version of a thumbs up / thumbs down rating. So I&amp;#39;m building up my own phoot collateral&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;2: To somehow acknowledge the photo and help it rise up in the pool (in particular within the &amp;quot;interstingness&amp;quot; calculation).
