And thanks for connecting some of the dots on metadata - we are finally getting enough extra information (tags, comments, being collected) on our objects that I&#39;m curious to start trying an &quot;interestingness&quot; filter a la flickr. Not sure how it will go or if we have enough traffic to really make it work...<br /><br />I also think the favorite feature is sort of the &quot;right way&quot; to do ratings - we went with Youtube-style 5 stars, and seeing our data and <a href="http://youtube-global.blogspot.com/2009/09/five-stars-dominate-ratings.html" rel="nofollow">this post</a> makes me realize we need to rethink it. A favorite is a very gentle (only positive votes) version of a thumbs up / thumbs down rating. So I&#39;m building up my own phoot collateral<br /><br />2: To somehow acknowledge the photo and help it rise up in the pool (in particular within the &quot;interstingness&quot; calculation).
